My name is Camille, and I'm (once again) changing platforms for this little creative space of mine.
On this blog you will find archives from two previous newsletters of mine, as well as the posts I've shared under the blog name Perpetual Draft, once hosted through Notion & Stomod, now on Bear.
As far as I can recall, I've always liked writing. It's cathartic.
I grew up, like many, alongside the internet. Since my teenagehood, I've had dozens of blogs, created & managed forums, then later on other forms of online communities. I have tried almost all social media platforms and I used to love them, up until the past couple of years. I am now craving a simpler, less evil online space where people can interact organically and authentically. Bear seems to match that goal, so I'm giving it a go :)
Some facts about me:
- I'm French š«š·
- I speak 3 languages fluently (FR/EN/PT) and have learned 6 in total (in chronological order: French, English, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, Portuguese).
- I've been living in Portugal since 2018. Love it here.
- I'm vegan and have been since 2016. I like to mention it as it has been one of the biggest lifestyle change I've made and stuck to over the years. Forever wishing for less cruelty in this crazy world (and that means towards humans as well).
- I have a dog and a cat š±š¶
- I used to read way more books as a kid and teenager. Sort of lost it as an adult, but I read a lot online.
